I love how your avatar is of your avatar, noice! Also, I like how you re inflated her boobs. I think it's sad that they deflated Elizabeth's boobs in the final product of the game. It wouldn't have been a distraction...er...well...i guess it would...hmmm..maybe they did need to deflate them a bit. >_<
I love this game so, so much. I feel like everytime I see an amazingly done Elizabeth I have to go and thank the artist for making more fan art, like I'm doing now I like this pensive Elizabeth gazing at the vigor. The darker clouds are a good touch as so many artists just go with a blue sky for everything. Hope you do more of her in the future!
I love them all, especially Eleanor, but to be honest? My favorite one of them all is Elizabeth (Annabelle). I just fell in love with her after Battleship Bay (That "Hello!" of hers makes me melt every single time... <3) and she was also the most complex character of them all. My ultimate favorite characters, though? The Luteces. Definitely the Luteces.
Well infinite had a few problems but the most obvious was (for me at least) was because of it's linear ending it gets spoiled quite quickly. Long story short I played about 1 hour of infinite before I went and got a full refund. In any case it's a good thing I didn't get the songbird edition like I originally planned.
Oh, I find it pretty sad that you think of the game that way For me, the ending didn't spoil the game at all, it makes the game even better. This is explained in the game itself, actually:
The Luteces explain that no matter what happens between the beginning and the ending, the ending is always the same. Besides, that had to be done for the game to make sense. I don't think it would be as half as good if they hadn't kept that ending. I found it sad, though; I wanted Liz to be happy (as in, go to Paris and get a puppy), it was the least she deserved
I still think the Songbird edition is worth it, though, just for that mega Songbird statue X3
Still multiple endings might of been a nice touch. If I did finish the game I'd want to choose how it plays out and choose my own path rather then be forced along the very linear path that is Bioshock infinite.
I think that the one thing that I (and others were surprised that didn't happen) was slightly annoyed about was no Songbird boss battle. But that could be an alternate ending where you "give them the girl and wiped away the debt."
I would like a "good ending", but in my personal opinion, another ending would have ruined the whole storyline. As I said earlier, yes, I was saddened by the ending, but the ending was THE piece that was missing in the whole jigsaw. While I respect that you would have liked multiple endings, I, personally, would not have liked that. So, different experiences for each person, I guess
Still, I heard they are planning about three DLCs, so there may be an "alternate" ending coming. Who knows.
As for the Songbird boss battle, Ken Levine said that they didn't include that because he despises those kinds of boss battles; the Fontaine boss battle in the first game was something he would have preferred not to put in the game. And, to be honest, I do not like boss battles either (then again, that final battle was annoying as hell in my opinion). Anyway, I think Songbird's end was a good one, and his purpose wasn't to be a mindless boss made solely for gameplay purposes. As contrary to what most people believe, Songbird DOES have emotions; that was the main reason he went after Booker in the first place: he was jealous of him. When he died, he let her go (and what a damn horrible way to die, too, Jesus. Poor Songbird *shudder*)
Anyway, like I said, DLCs are coming, so don't lose hope yet
